3D Fly-Through of the Greyfriars Area of Leicester

Further work is being carried out by the DBHG on the 3D model of the historic Greyfriars area of Leicester. The first pass model is complete with all the major structures within the defined zone having their overall geometry resolved to a first level of detail. This is the bare bones of the model and gives a good indication of the form of the urban fabric and the spatial sequences in this part of the city. 2:00 to 2:10 in this reduced resolution video will take you over the site of the former Leicester Grammar School car park (near foreground) where King Richard III was found.
