Heritage Symposium and Exhibition – “Before The Last Traces Are Gone”

De Montfort University in Leicester is hosting an Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded one day symposium and exhibition on 16th December 2013 entitled “Before the Last Traces Are Gone”. This is part of an AHRC funded project hosted at DMU involving collaborative partners from a number of UK universities and UK community heritage groups dedicated to helping small local and regional heritage groups benefit from networking with each other both nationally and internationally. There’s a full programme of events and speakers and there will an extensive exhibition showing the latest work being produced and parallel sessions, workshops and Leicester tours. The Digital Building Heritage Group will be there with their show-stand, 3D laser scanning and the latest animations and 3D printed architectural models from their current AHRC funded Connected Communities, Community Heritage projects. This promises to be a great event and a marvelous opportunity to network with leading researchers and community heritage groups involved in AHRC connected communities research.
